every woman has a story

There is a gentle balance between capturing a photo and capturing a moment in time.  Both equally important when telling your unique story.  I realized in my own personal search for a boudoir photographer, that only a handful of artists offered natural boudoir. Brands that truly focused on women's beauty in a refined and understated way. I asked myself, how are we encouraging women to love themselves the way that they are if they are only being presented in unrealistic ways?  And so, it began my journey as a boudoir photographer seeking artful and empowering images of women.  To me, boudoir photography should be viewed as timeless artwork reflecting a woman's natural beauty and from a woman's perspective. It is important to me that every woman leaves her session experience, empowered. I honor each woman's beauty, celebrate her current season of life, and document who she truly is, in that moment. My work highlights the beauty that already exists, rather than defining it by labels. I recognize that perceptions of body type are subjective and seen differently through every set of eyes. My intention is to share confidence and individuality, and I do not categorize anyone in my work. Every woman has a story, and I would love to tell yours.
